Monitoring the progress of ongoing public works in a transparent and efficient way is of utmost importance to municipalities and local governments.

Nuvole built a dedicated platform, based on the widely used Drupal system, to make it easy for municipalities to monitor public works in real time and optionally share selected information with citizens.

Main features:

• Integrated functionalities: all data about a public work (map, rendering, pictures and media, financial details, date of completion, priority) are stored in one system only.
• Easy-to-use system: the municipality staff can enter all details about a public work directly in the system, through a simple web-based interface.
• Fine-grained permissions: the policy of who can see and edit which details is completely customizable; the system supports user roles such as staff, administrator and visitor.
• Printed reports: the website can generate a variety of attractive real-time customized reports in PDF format, suitable for printing too.
• Public scrutiny: the website can be kept as an internal tool only or selected parts of it can be displayed to the citizens, who are optionally able to monitor progress through social network integration.
