User-friendly, mobile-enabled search
ESN wanted to provide their members with the easiest tool to find card discounts in their area.
Nuvole put extra care in providing an enhanced search experience:
location names autocomplete as the user types and an HTML5-based geo-localization service
guesses the closest discounts based on the current user's location, a great help when browsing
the site using a mobile device.

The ESN card project was also meant as a way to visualize the network's strength towards
prospective partners and stakeholders: search results can be
displayed on a map for maximum impact, giving a site visitor the possibility to appreciate the initiative's
size at a glance.

Search is the project's key feature: Nuvole integrated the site with
an enterprise-class Open Source search engine, Apache Solr, allowing for fast and accurate results,
autocomplete and autocorrect of search terms,
advanced data indexing, geo-localization services and faceted search.
